Prolific participants:

Student participants:
You will receive course credit (VP credit) according to your course requirements.
We collect behavioral data (e.g., responses, choices, reaction times) and basic demographic information (age and sex).
Your Prolific ID is temporarily stored to process payment and bonuses.
A participation identifier may be temporarily stored to assign course credit.
After this, identifying information is removed and the data are stored under a random ID, so that they can no longer be linked to you. No IP addresses are stored.
Anonymized data may be used for scientific research, including publications and public data sharing.
This study involves no risks beyond normal computer-based tasks. While there is no direct personal benefit, the results contribute to scientific research. Participation is voluntary, and you may stop at any time without giving a reason.
You may request deletion of your data by contacting the research team at [email], as long as your data can still be linked to you. After anonymization, deletion is no longer possible.
For students, participation or non-participation will not affect academic evaluation beyond standard course rules.
