This study investigates how people make decisions under uncertainty when solving
collaborative logic puzzles. You will play short rounds of a nonogram-style task
either alone or paired with another participant.
1. Procedure
You will see a grid with numerical hints around it. On your turn you must click
one cell, indicate how confident you are, and pass the turn to your partner.
The task takes approximately [XX minutes].
2. Compensation
You will receive a fixed base payment of [€X.XX] plus a performance bonus of
up to [€2.00] depending on how many of your decisions are correct.
3. Data and Privacy
We collect your clicks, their timing, confidence ratings, and basic demographic
information. Your Prolific ID is stored temporarily to process payment. After
anonymisation, identifying information is removed and data are stored under a
random ID.
4. Voluntary participation
Participation is voluntary; you may stop at any time without consequence.

How to play each step:
Click one cell to either fill it or mark it as empty (✕). You can
tentatively try several cells, but only the last one you click will be
committed.
Set the confidence slider to how sure you are that this cell is correct.
Click Done to lock the cell and pass the turn to your partner.
You cannot undo a committed cell. Each round has a fixed number of steps;
when the steps run out, the round ends.
The accuracy of your committed cells will determine your bonus payment.
